A healthy congregation operates through the actions of its members. CdS accomplishes its mission through different Ministry Teams. Read the desriptions below or follow their links to see if tthere is a Team for you.

This team provides opportunities through which the community of faith can come to a deeper understanding of God's will and purpose for us and to promote a deeper level of commitment to our faith.

This team has responsibility for all matters with regard to the planning and administration of an effective Christian education program.

This team is responsible for the planning, organizing, implementation and presentation of the Gospel to all persons within the reach of CDS; to greet members and visitors attending worship services; and to actively encourage visitation and other appropriate activities to bring new members into the Church.

This team reaches out to the community and the world in word and deed by caring, listening, sharing, serving and witnessing with commitment to God's good news. This team interprets and promotes local, regional and world ministry and benevolent programs so that in growing ways the Congregation will discover means of reaching out beyond itself to persons in need.

This team promotes the welfare and growth of CDS by encouraging a sense of community among the members of the Congregation. This is accomplished through helping to assimilate new members into the life and programs of the Church; planning for and implementing fellowship events; and encouraging all persons to grow in their love for God and their neighbors.

This team maintains and cares for all CDS property and equipment.
This team is responsible for all of the property and equipment owned by CDS, including keeping all property and equipment in good condition, studying needs and making recommendations for improvements, caring for the grounds and providing proper protection of CDS premises and equipment.

This team develops within the membership an understanding of the full meaning of Christian stewardship, and to direct the financial program of CDS so that it will not only supply the financial needs of CDS, but also prove to be a means of spiritual enrichment and growth in stewardship for all members.

This team performs all technological duties during regular worship services as well as other events to utilize all forms of media to spread the Good News.

This team handles all visual, sound, and recording equipment with the intent of providing a clear presentation.

This team leads the Church in the genuine experience of worship, both corporate and personal; and to enrich personal and family devotional life. This team coordinates the regular worship of the Church with special attention to seasons, themes and music; plans and implements special worship services; and assists the minister in planning and implementing other worship activities.
